Hi, I’m Giselle, owner of Giselle Photography, I am a newborn photographer and a brand photographer based in London, specifically in New Malden, Kingston.

Let me tell you a little bit about me...
An architect by training who turned into a photographer, that’s how I like to describe myself. I am also wife to an amazing husband and mum to 2 gorgeous kids. I was born in Lima, Peru and moved to England over 20 years ago, after graduating as an architect.
I believe my photography style is a result of my two passions mixed together: architecture & photography. My architectural background transfers nicely into photography. It gives me a flare for design, style, as well as awareness of space and composition.
My journey into this world of photography
When I found out I was pregnant, my life changed completely. I didn’t want to miss a minute of my baby’s life, and also my journey into motherhood. I started documenting every single stage. From the belly, his very first days, months, etc. I used to follow my son around with my camera. I just couldn’t get enough. My little miracle of life was just so perfect! He’s got so many beautiful pictures and it was the same when my sweet baby girl arrived.
Fast forward a few years, and funny enough, my boy, now in his early teens, refuses to be photographed at all costs! Oh well, this is what teenagers are like, ha ha! Luckily my gorgeous daughter still allows me to take pictures of her!
And this is how my journey began!
Business and babies...
I initially photographed children & families. And later I specialised in newborn photography. I am trained in newborn posing and baby safety methods. One of my main priorities is to make sure I can handle and pose your baby in the safest possible way with all the care and respect I would expect anybody to handle my own baby.
I have been photographing newborns and families since 2015, but took a few years career break. I am back into it and whilst I still adore doing newborn baby and family photoshoots, I have expanded my services into the genre of brand photography for business owners and entrepreneurs. It is a completely different genre but I get so much enjoyment out of it! I work alongside every single one of my clients to make them feel confident and to be able to create the best photos that tell the message and story of their businesses.
And even though I love working with all kinds of businesses, due to my architectural background, I have a particular interest in businesses involved in the architectural and design industry, i.e., interior designers, garden designers, lighting designers, FF&E suppliers, etc. There is always so much to learn from every single client’s journey, so many interesting stories that deserve to be told with photographs.
My mission
My mission is to provide you with not just a photo shoot but a very high quality, personalised top customer service and an enjoyable photographic experience.
Knowing that my photography can make a positive and massive impact in people’s lives, families and businesses is a wonderful inspiration!
I am based in London. My newborn photo shoots are done at my little home-studio, based in The Groves area in New Malden, Kingston Upon Thames, South West London. As for my brand shoots I come to the location fo your choice. I cover most of Central London and nearby areas in Surrey.
