Session Fee
A session fee of £59 is required at the time of booking to secure your session.
It covers the photoshoot itself and includes studio time (up to 3hrs), use of studio props, Giselle’s expertise in taking and enhancing your images for your viewing appointment.
The session fee does not include any prints or digital images.

Where will my Newborn Photoshoot take place?
Your newborn photoshoot will be done at my intimate home studio in New Malden, Kingston. Very near New Malden Station, ideal location for clients coming from London & Surrey.
When should I contact you to book my newborn photoshoot?
I recommend booking after your 20-week scan. I’ll give you a tentative date considering your estimate due date. Once your gorgeous baby’s here, we’ll confirm a definite date.
When is the best time to photograph my newborn baby?
Ideally 5 – 21 days old. At that age they still keep the curled up foetal shape. They also tend to sleep long and deep and are very flexible, which is ideal to gently achieve those beautiful newborn poses
How much does a Newborn Session cost?
A £59 booking fee secures your session. A few weeks after the photoshoot, at your viewing appointment, you choose the Collection you’d like to buy, starting at £249. See Newborn Collections here.
How long does a Newborn Photoshoot last?
Every session is different, but a newborn session will last approximately 3 hours. It includes feeding time, settling your newborn baby to sleep, etc.
Do you provide props for my baby?
Yes, I have got props like hats, headbands, wraps, backdrops, etc. Every item is carefully washed after to ensure they are clean for our next session.
Can siblings and parents take part in my baby's photoshoot?
Absolutely! Just consider that due to limited space I can only accommodate 5 family members including your newborn baby.
Are newborn sessions available on any day of the week?
Newborn photoshoots are available: Mondays – Thursdays in the morning.
Common Concerns - Newborn Photoshoot in New Malden
My baby is already born, can I still have a newborn session done?
Yes, contact me ASAP. I have exceptionally photographed older babies, up to 5-6 weeks old, in these cases, please be aware that we may not achieve the same results as your baby might stay awake most of their session.
What if I book my newborn session and my baby arrives earlier or later?
Based on your due date, I’ll reserve a provisional date about 10 days after birth. As a boutique studio photographing only 2 or 3 newborns a week, I am able to offer flexible scheduling, so I’ll confirm your exact date once your baby arrives.
What if my baby cries during the photo session?
Your baby’s comfort is my top priority. If your little one cries and becomes unsettled during the photoshoot, I will make a pause to ensure your baby is comfortable. I’ll allow time for feeding and cuddling and will restart the session when your baby is ready again.
My baby has bad skin (flaky skin, spots, acne, etc). I doubt it will clear before the shoot
Baby skin is not perfect, and it’s absolutely normal. If you are concerned about it, contact your doctor before the session, and ask him/her to recommend a cream or natural oil you can apply. In case of acne, cool washcloths could help. But remember I can always work my magic and retouch these kind of skin blemishes.
Is newborn photography safe?
I’ve trained on newborn photography safety methods to ensure your baby’s safe and secure. Your little one will never be left unattended. I will never attempt a pose that will put your baby at risk, nor will I force them into a pose they’re not comfortable with. As a mum of 2, I will handle your baby with the same care and respect I’d expect somebody else to handle my own.
I’m worried about leaving the house with my newborn
I understand, things may be new to you, this may be your first outing with your baby and you might still be recovering. My studio is a warm, intimate space with parking right outside. Everything is prepared for you and your baby, including drinks and snacks. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to relax for 2-3 hours while I photograph your little one.

Your Newborn Photoshoot is officially booked only once the session fee is paid and contract signed.
