FAQs - Your Maternity Photoshoot in London / Surrey

When is the best time to photograph my bump?

When you are 28-34 weeks, so that your belly is nice and round but not too big so you feel comfortable during your shoot. Contact me well in advance, ideally after your 20 week scan, to book your pregnancy photoshoot.

Where does the session take place and how long does it last?

Your maternity photoshoot takes place at my cosy home studio in New Malden, very near New Malden Station, ideal for clients coming from London & Surrey. Depending on your chosen collection, sessions last between 30 mins and 1hr.

Would you provide me with a maternity photoshoot dress?

I have a small but beautiful selection of maternity dresses in neutral colours you can wear. If you’d prefer to wear your own clothes, it’s fine too and I’m happy to help you choose if you’d like me to.

How much does a Maternity Photo Session cost?

Can my partner and my other children be included in my maternity photos?

Absolutely! In a Maternity Photoshoot you and your bump are the stars of the shoot but all family members are welcome to take part, too.

Can I bring a special prop to my maternity photo session?

Sure, you can include a special item, like your baby’s scan photo, a special toy, etc.

Common Concerns about your Maternity Photo shoot in Kingston

Will you retouch my Maternity photos? I'm worried about my stretch marks

Your photos will be edited to enhance your natural beauty and soften temporary imperfections like stretch marks and other temporary skin changes while keeping your photos looking natural and true to you.

I’m worried about posing in front of the camera. Will it be difficult?

Being in front of the camera isn’t always easy. Your comfort is my priority. I’ll make it simple by guiding you throughout the shoot and will do anything possible to help you pose and to make you feel beautiful and relaxed.

Do I have to show my bare belly during the photoshoot?

You can choose to show your bump covered or bare. The choice is yours and I respect it.

If you have booked a Full Maternity Experience, this is your reveal session at my studio to view your gorgeous final images for the first time and to place your order. This is when you choose your Collection and/or select some beautiful A la Carte Products like albums, wall art, etc.
